Spiced Apple and Sultana Cake

3 Apples peeled and sliced.  (you can substitute with a pear if you don’t have enough apples)

1 Cup of Sugar

1 Large egg (or 2 small)

125 gm Butter melted

1 ½ Cup Flour

1 tsp. Baking soda

¼ tsp. Salt

¾ tsp. Mixed Spice

1 tsp. Cinnamon

½ tsp. Nutmeg

1Cup Sultanas



Mix Apple and Sugar

Add Butter and Egg Mixed together

Add dry ingredients and mix only just enough to moisten

Add Sultanas

Bake at 180C for about and hour in a greased 20cm round tin

Let the Cake cool for about ten minutes before removing from tin
